By now, many of you have heard my amazing news! I’m joining the momstown team as their new Editor and I couldn’t be more excited to meet all of the momstown team and work together on the blog!
It started with a 2 hour phone call. One that flew by and was only stopped by the school bus schedule. By the end of the call, I not only felt like I had found the perfect role, but also the perfect leader.
You know when something just feels right? Comfortable? Like you just fit?
THAT is how it feels with momstown.
Now only do I feel like this is a fantastic career move, but it also fits perfectly with my family and my priorities as a mom. In fact, since this new role is part-time from home, I’m still able to be there for bus drop off and pick up everyday and stay at home with Jayden on Tuesdays and Thursdays when he is not at SK. Perfect.
So, on Monday, I start a new chapter. A new beginning and I’m feeling like it’s “back to school” for me! I’ve bought new binders, dividers, post-its and a hole-punch and now I’m researching, reading and making calendars. I hope the momstown team is ready for my colourful excel spreadsheets!
I’ve worked from home before, but now I want to really create an inspiring and organized workspace. While I will surely have a bottomless cup of tea, my Elmo water bottle full, my puppy snuggled at my feet….what else do I need to create the best home office?
