We are now almost half way through the summer, can you believe it? I sure can’t!
We started the summer with the long weekend, fireworks and Canada Day celebrations for our whole family at the lake. Our July 1st traditions also mean the official beginning of summer at my parent’s house in Fenelon Falls. Their local fireworks display sets the tone for the summer ahead full of adventures on the lake with our family.
This summer we were lucky to begin the summer with a visit from my cousin who has been living in Vancouver. She and her boyfriend shared their favourite parts of living out west and our boys had so many questions- mostly, when can we go out there? We’ve never taken the kids outside of Ontario but watching all of my friends traveling this summer to the shorelines of Canada (especially to the East Coast), has me itching to see all that Canada has to offer!
Here is a new craft we made to celebrate being Canadian- Canada Day Mason Jar Vases!

- Alpha and Omega
