The lists are made, they’ve been checked twice, but now I need to get a Kris Kringle gift for our newest family member! I can figure out gifts for boys, but I have NO clue what to get for an 18 month old girl!
We all know Playskool is the place for toddler and preschool toys (and my fave Sesame Street and Elmo), but did you know that they have a Toy Finder on their newly designed interactive site?
I love buying gifts for kids and I do a lot of research online before I make that final decision. I want to make sure that the toy has some learning or developmental skills associated with it and that it will be a toy that will grow with the child for a while! When I first played around with the toy finder, I had a blast looking around at the toys that would be great for my kids and our family members. I’ll admit that I even tried to trick this PTPA Winning online tool, but it still found a great gift for Jayden AND his little cousin!
Does this look like a happy kid? You bet! Using the toy finder, I found this for Jayden. The toy finder picked the Playskool Heroes Jedi Force MILLENNIUM FALCON with Han Solo and Chewbacca!
Through research Playskool discovered that majority of people coming to Playskool.ca were giftgivers, and they wanted to make sure the search experience was as easy to navigate as possible! Drop down menus make it easy to find the perfect toy by type, brand/characters, age group and even special occasion (ex: best toy for 2nd birthday).
The new site also includes play benefits so parents can read about the learning that happens through play and specifically what skills each toy delivers from gross motor skill development to pre-math skills!
Playskool just made holiday shopping and gift buying a lot easier!!!
That’s why “This Skool Rocks!”
